I-pod cover

Before I forget thought I'd display the i-pod cover I made. Chris very pleased with it!!

Been a while.......

Well have been very remiss and not blogged for a bit but life has been rather hectic.

Kids have broken up and they spent last week with their grandparents in a friends house on the beach at the Witterings. Weather was not good but all reported that they had had a great time.

Christopher (eldest son) tried to be artistic and take a piture of Jaffa, the cat. (See left!!)

Went to Bluewater yesterday and met Julie (Friend from Uni) gave her the wavy scarf which I think she was really pleased with. She was very naughty and had bought me some perfume to say thank you (Or perhaps to tell me I smell!!!)

Am sitting doing this so don't have to do research proposal or work out how to use a circular knitting needle

Have just sent an empty email to UK handknitters. Must stop pushing the wrong button........

Bought more books

Went to London today never seen so many policemen with guns. Spent a a wonderful 3 hours in Foyles - bought 2 books for work, 1 for my MSc and the new Loop de loop knitting book. The latter is fantastic - the friend I was with has requested the chain link scarf (If I felt like knitting something for her!!)

Went to Belgos Central for lunch - great fun. Don't usually drink beer but have always loved their fruit beers had the mango one

A bit of knitting

Well here is knitty.com wavy scarf completed. Great fun to knit and very satisfying. Did not use the yarn suggested but very pleased with the result. Its not for me but my friend Julie who I met when started MSc at Surrey. She requested the addition of the fringe!

Anyway no photo of me but one of my beloved husband who is my best friend and puts up with me!! No mean feat I can tell you!!

Have been doing paperwork all day at work as have not done any for ages due to teaching commitments. Teaching newly qualified nurses all tomorrow morning so should be good fun.
