I have been so bad...................

All my good intentions og blogging regularly ................... well did not happen like many other new years resolutions. Anyway short update on whats been happening..

Started new job January 3rd nad it's fab!! Everyones very friendly and welcoming we are already discussing a Knit and stitch group within our building but think it will be up to me to organise it!!

Am planning a trip to the sewing and knitting show in Brighton next week and will finally meet someone I have been chatting to via IM for nearly a year!!

Have bought new digital camera so will bore you with some photos!!

Well here goes....

Am going to try a link so thought I would do one to Get Knitted where I am drooling over the Royal Silk and keep going to it when I need cheering up!

OK that's decided......

Have decided that my new years resolution ....or one of them! is to blog regularly but need to a) take more pitures to make it interesting and b)get a book about blogs! am still pants about putting links in etc so need to work on my code... think that's its name!!

Had a meeting at the Uni this morning so took advantage of the excellent and cheap bus service for a visit to Guilford and Pandora in particular. Was very disappointed as had money to spend ..... all kid silk colours in stock were not what I wanted but hey ho .....

Might have to go to Caterham on Tuesday for a drool......

Doing an extra shift tomorrow in A&E just hope it's not as harrowing as the last two have been

Am really fed up.....

Well I know it has been ages but have been very busy!

Am starting new job in January - Hurrah!! I will miss the people at work but not the politics. Some of the new top people appear quite odd in their management styles and seems very strange how many of the old managers are finding new jobs elsewhere!

Have been in London teaching most of this week so feeling weary but week was going ok until Chris came home from school to tell me that both his mobile phone and i pod were stolen from a locked chaging room whilst he was playing in a school football match.As the police said 'very strange'apparently the school are going to investigate!!

I have been very remiss and have not been posting regularly - no excuses just haven't!

Am getting a presentation for an interview on Monday afternoon - have been given a very dry subject but am basing it on Dorothy's journey to the Emerald city so they will either love it or hate it. If they hate it then probably shouldn't work there!

I will update this every day and get photos and learn code and .........

Just an update

Spent all day problem solving at work - all fell into place at the end , but why is it those things one plans to do get pushed further and further down the list and may never get done at this rate.

What awful weather.....

What dreadful weather - got woken up in the middle of the night by the thunder and then got wet trying to get to work! I really do prefer sunshine - makes me feel better but cannot persuade Andy that we should go to warmer climes (probably 'cause we would have to be able to drive there as he hates flying! Wonder how long it would take to drive to Australia??!!)

Very tempted to knit Clapotis but having difficulty understanding the instructions so am going to do another Wavy but thought I would use some Noro that I was going to make a cardigan with but became another WIP that I did not like......

Had an email from the Prof at Uni who made some remarks about the start of my research proposal - most fair and helpful but one I don't understand what he is talking about and can find nothing in any of my research books to help.......... Perhaps I'm not cut out to do an MSc...feeling quite dispondant about it but did update my CV and fill out application form for new job so we'll see....

Going to cast on wavy knitting always makes me feel better
